Andrea got her start at a tech startup right out of college, helping grow it from $10k in seed money to a multi-million dollar business in just 8 years. She wore every hat—from sales to coding to accounting—and learned what it really takes to build a company. From there, she became the first female executive at a $700M global manufacturing firm, leading digital strategy, marketing, and communications across 10 business units in 12 countries. That experience sparked her passion for understanding how people adapt to change, leading her into the world of Behavioral Science.
Over the next decade, Andrea continued her education at places like the University of Toronto and RIT, building on her Psychology and Communications background from the University of Iowa. She went on to start Iowa’s first Strategic Change Agency and now advises multi-billion-dollar companies across various industries. She created The Steering Guide decision framework to help teams put strategy into action, produces a major TEDx event in the Midwest, coaches speakers nationwide, and teaches in the University of Iowa’s applied entrepreneurship programs.
